Therapy Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why ABA?
A: Applied Behavior Analysis is the only from of intervention for children on the autism spectrum that has been proven effective by research. It is data-driven. Strategies and techniques are adapted quickly and efficiently to ensure optimal learning.
Q: Why early intervention?

A: We recommend 20-30 hours per week, depending on the age of the child.
Q: How long is each session?

A: Most therapy sessions and parent training sessions take place in your home. Sessions with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst running your child's program take place at our site in SE Portland.

A: The Behavior Analyst supervising the program usually runs one session per week. All other sessions are run by our behavioral therapists.

A: Behavior Analysts can provide program evaluations, comprehensive assessments, and school and transition consultation.
